Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer / Site Engineer to oversee electrical and ELV site activities on Singapore-based projects. You will coordinate subcontractors and ensure installation, testing and commissioning meet project specifications, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, liaising with multiple stakeholders and delivering VO submissions when required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering concepts and theory relevant to site works.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical and ELV schematic drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of electrical site works.
• Review contract specifications and prepare Variation Order submissions where required.
• Perform engineering design, electrical load calculations and fault calculations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements and standards.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to discuss project matters.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate to achieve milestones.
• Assist management in monitoring progress and resolving site issues.
• Coordinate between electrical works and other M&E trades.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer / Site Engineer to oversee electrical and ELV site activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure installation, testing and commissioning works are completed safely, efficiently and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical and ELV schematic drawings, specifications and technical documents.




• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of electrical site works.




• Review contract specifications and prepare Variation Order (VO) submissions where required.




• Perform engineering design, electrical load calculations and fault calculations.




• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical installation, testing and commissioning.




• Ensure installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant standards.




• Attend regular site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to discuss and resolve project matters.




• Monitor site progress and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure project milestones are achieved.




• Assist the Project/Site/Construction Manager in monitoring project progress and resolving site issues.




• Ensure proper coordination between electrical works and other M&E trades.




• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities upon project completion.




• Maintain proper project documentation and provide updates on site progress.

Requirements

• ITE, Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.




• Relevant experience in electrical project/site management, preferably within industrial or commercial projects.




• Knowledge of electrical and ELV systems, installation and commissioning processes.




• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.




• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.




• Good problem-solving, coordination and project management abilities.




• Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
