Job summary

WEESENG HVAC TECHNOLOGY PTE LTD is seeking an Executive Engineer to lead the design, diagnostic, testing and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of chillers and related systems within our manufacturing process.

The engineer will independently plan, schedule and coordinate on-site and workshop activities, liaising with production, sales and customers to ensure compliance with drawings, codes and specifications. Familiarity with SolidWorks and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) is required.
• 2–4 years of relevant Electrical/Mechanical experience.
• SolidWorks and MS Office proficiency required.
• Licensing as Electrical Engineer or Technician is a bonus; Class 3 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, diagnose, test and overhaul mechanical, electrical and electronic components of chillers and related systems.
• Lead digitization efforts by selecting/adopting/ redesigning PCB & PLCs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external customers on-site and in workshop.
• Supervise suppliers and ensure compliance with design drawings, specs and codes.
• Generate engineering/electrical drawings with SolidWorks.

Job description

The executive engineer is responsible for the design, diagnostic, testing as well as repair and overhaul of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of thechillers and other related systems in support of our overall chiller manufacturing process. The engineer shall be required to independently plan, schedule, coordinate and optimize on-site and workshop activities and coordinate with the sales and marketing team where required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, diagnose, test as well as repair and overhaul mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems
• Spearhead digitization of existing chillers through selection, adoption and/or redesign of PCB & PLCs
• Coordinate and liaise with internal production, sales & marketing team as well as externalend customers, contractors and consultants on-site
• Supervise andcheck suppliers' works and/ or end customer requirements according to design drawings, specifications and regulation (local codes or relevant international design codes)
• Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.
• Generate engineering & electrical drawings with SolidWorks software
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 2 -4year(s) of working experience in Electrical/Mechanical related fields is required for this position
• Required Skill(s): SolidWorks, Microsoft Office
• Licensed Electrical Engineer OR Licensed Electrical Technician is a bonus
• Preferably with class 3 driving license
• Working Hours : Mon to Fri (8.00 am to 5.00pm) & Sat (8.00am to 3.00pm)
• Salary :S$ 3,200 - S$4,800
