Job summary

LEW firm in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Technician to join our team full-time in the Tai Seng area. You will support installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems across diverse projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year hands-on experience, with a Nitec/ diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, and are proficient in reading drawings and diagnosing faults.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in electrical engineering, installation, testing or maintenance.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify electrical requirements and potential issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Support electrical design, power distribution and control system works where required.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, clients and other stakeholders.
• Ensure works comply with electrical regulations, specifications and workplace safety requirements.

You will support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems across various projects while ensuring compliance with relevant technical and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment

What we're looking for

• Attend to site work, including climbing, bending and handling tools and equipment where required
• Familiarity with CAD, electrical design software or relevant engineering applications would be advantageous
• Relevant electrical certifications or experience in automation, industrial control systems or related electrical works would be advantageous
