Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is assisting a Singapore-based multinational in recruiting an Electrical Engineer for ongoing transformation projects in a Central location. The role covers troubleshooting, product reliability, and driving cost optimisation across the production lifecycle.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop test plans, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement corrective/preventive actions to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 8+ years in electronics product development, sustaining engineering or related roles.
• Experience with analogue, digital, and power electronics, including circuit analysis and component selection.
• Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, lab equipment use, and product verification.
• FMEA, 8D, DOE, and statistical analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and improvement of electronic power products throughout production lifecycle.
• Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to enhance performance and reliability.
• Develop test plans, perform verification, and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support production activities.
• Drive product improvements, cost optimization, and qualification of alternate components.
• Develop and improve automated testing systems using hardware and software.
• Perform risk assessments and reliability evaluations to identify design/production issues.
• Investigate failures, determine root causes, and implement CAPAs.
• Support product compliance, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

8 years of relevant experience i n electronics product development, electrical engineering, or sustaining engineering.

Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, and power electronics , including circuit analysis and component selection.

Hands-on experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, laboratory equipment, and product verification.

Knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, DOE, and statistical analysis.
