RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is assisting a multinational client in the semiconductor manufacturing sector to recruit an Electrical Engineer for ongoing transformation projects. The role focuses on troubleshooting, reliability, and cost optimisation, with close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

The engineer will oversee power electronics product lifecycle, develop test plans, perform verification, and drive continuous improvement in product performance and production

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in electronics product development, electrical engineering, or sustaining engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, and power electronics, including circuit analysis and component selection.
• Hands-on experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, laboratory equipment, and product verification.
• Knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, DOE, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and improvement of electronic power products throughout their production lifecycle.
• Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to enhance product performance, quality, and reliability.
• Develop test plans and procedures, perform product verification, and prepare technical reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support ongoing production activities.
• Drive product improvements, cost optimization, and alternative component qualification.
• Develop and improve automated testing systems using hardware and software solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and reliability evaluations to identify potential design and production issues.
• Investigate product failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support product compliance, component lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
