Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in test engineering, automated testing, or electronics manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience in developing and troubleshooting automated test systems and production test equipment.
• Good knowledge of electronic circuits, electrical measurements, and test instrumentation.
• Experience in test fixture design, failure analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Familiar with programming or test automation tools such as LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++ will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test solutions to evaluate product performance, functionality, and safety.
• Establish production testing methods for electronic products with digital control and communication features.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and testing system issues.
• Coordinate with design teams and suppliers to develop reliable testing equipment and fixtures.
• Ensure testing equipment meets electrical safety, ESD protection, grounding, and reliability requirements.
• Provide technical support for production testing and manufacturing issues.
• Conduct failure analysis and root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Review test results and production data to improve product quality and reduce testing errors.
• Develop test procedures, specifications, testing criteria, and work instructions.
• Establish suitable test limits based on product requirements and testing results.
• Improve testing efficiency, accuracy, coverage, and overall reliability.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to establish testing requirements for new products.
• Validate and release automated testing systems, fixtures, and test programs for production use.
• Support production ramp-up and the transfer of testing processes to manufacturing facilities.

Job description

Our client is MNC in the Semiconductor manufacturing Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Test Engineer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Test Engineer:

1) Automated Testing & System Development

• Develop automated test solutions to evaluate product performance, functionality, and safety.

• Establish production testing methods for electronic products with digital control and communication features.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and testing system issues.

2) Test Fixture & Equipment Development

• Coordinate with design teams and suppliers to develop reliable testing equipment and fixtures.

• Ensure testing equipment meets electrical safety, ESD protection, grounding, and reliability requirements.

3) Production & Technical Support

• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to establish testing requirements for new products.

Job Requirements:
