Job summary

MA M&E SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical projects in Singapore. You will prepare and review drawings, calculate loads, select equipment, and oversee installation to ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires hands-on coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site while delivering quality handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with electrical calculation software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, layouts, specifications, and technical calculations.
• Calculate electrical loads and select appropriate cables, switchgear, distribution boards, lighting, and earthing systems.
• Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and material requisitions.
• Review supplier quotations, equipment specifications, and technical submissions.
• Supervise installation work and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering teams.
• Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and report project status.
• Conduct or witness electrical inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare as-built drawings, test reports, operation and maintenance manuals, and handover documents.
• Support workplace safety and quality-control procedures.
