Job summary

Synergex Engineering PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Projects Coordinator to support the Project Manager by coordinating electrical design and installation activities, tracking progress, and ensuring quality on site.

You will review drawings and specifications, liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities, and assist with documentation and submissions. Fresh graduates welcome; travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Min. 2 years of experience in electrical/M&E projects; Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD required
• Willing to travel to project sites; on-the-job training will be provided
• Possession of LEW (Licensed Electrical Worker) status will be an advantage
• Familiarity with SS 638 (Code of Practice for Electrical Installations) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing electrical projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate electrical design and installation activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and internal teams.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, load calculations, and project specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor site progress and daily electrical installation works, conduct quality inspections and suggest improvements.
• Inspect and evaluate subcontractors' electrical works for compliance with drawings, codes, and safety standards.
• Liaise with authorities (SP Group and LTA) for submissions, inspections, and approvals.
• Identify and report project issues, delays, and site matters with updates and recommendations.
• Prepare project documentation including progress reports and as-built drawings.

Job Summary

Assist the Project Manager in executing awarded electrical projects by coordinating electrical design and installation activities with stakeholders, monitoring day-to-day site works and quality, inspecting subcontractor work, and preparing the required technical and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing electrical projects to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Coordinate electrical design and installation activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and internal teams.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, load calculations, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor site progress and daily electrical installation works, conducting quality inspections and recommending improvements where necessary.
• Inspect and evaluate subcontractors’ electrical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, relevant codes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, including SP Group and LTA, for required submissions, inspections, and approvals.
• Identify and report project issues, delays, and site matters to the Project Manager, providing appropriate updates and recommendations.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, site reports, and inspection records, and verify the accuracy and completion of as-built electrical drawings and other technical documents.

Competency & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Preferably Min. 2 years of experience in electrical/M&E projects; Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
