Job summary

Nextbeat Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Electrical & Electronics Engineer in Singapore for a hands‑on technical role with long-term engineering career prospects.

The position offers a 5‑day work week, on-site at Tuas Basin Link, and benefits including leave and medical insurance. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical/electronic equipment, fault finding on complex systems, assembling components, and performing maintenance and testing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or related engineering preferred.
• Approximately 3 to 4 years of hands‑on experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting, servicing or repair.
• Fresh Diploma graduates with exceptional practical experience may also be considered.
• Able to use common electrical/electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, insulation testers).
• Good understanding of electrical circuits, electronic components and fault diagnosis techniques.
• Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to work both in the workshop and at customer sites.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service and test electrical and electronic equipment.
• Carry out fault finding on electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Assemble, wire, modify and integrate electrical and electronic components and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and functional testing of equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Prepare service reports, inspection records and repair documentation.
• Support equipment commissioning, FAT and site activities where required.
• Maintain workshop tools, instruments and test equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality, safety and technical procedures.
• Assist senior engineers with system upgrades, product improvements and technical projects.
• Provide technical support to internal departments and customers when required.
