Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a qualified electrical technician for a permanent position. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating electrical systems in facilities. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Require wearing minimum Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• LEW (Electrician grade) and local electrical code knowledge an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, and install plants and facilities electrical systems.
• Maintain and update line diagrams and labels in control panels.
• Establish and manage the maintenance plan for electrical systems.

Skills

Knowledge in thermal scanning

Ability to read electrical schematics

Proactive and able to work independently

Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Teams

Education

Higher Nitec/Diploma in engineering

Up to $4000 + AWS + Incentives

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot/repair/maintenance/calibrate/install of plants, facilities electrical system and equipment
• Maintain, update and label line diagram & label in the control panels/DB/MSB.
• Establish and manage the maintenance plan of electrical, instruments, calibration, interlock, emergency shutdown button.
• Coordinate and liaise with electrical contractor work schedule
• Perform housekeeping activities for the work area
• Any other tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager

Period: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Job Requirements:

• Higher Nitec/Diploma in engineering and/or equivalent discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing industry
• Knowledge in thermal scanning and arc flash awareness
• Ability to read electrical schematics, manuals, SOP, ISO, PID and perform documentation.
• Require wearing minimum Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Teams
• LEW (Electrician grade) and local electrical code knowledge an added advantage
• Proactive and able to work independently and in teams in a fast‑paced environment
