Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our automation team. You will design and implement electrical systems for high-precision CNC machinery and collaborate with R&D, production and Sales to ensure successful integration.

The role requires experience in electrical design for machine tools or industrial automation, knowledge of PLC/CNC systems, and proficiency with CAD software to produce clear drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for machine tools or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of PLC/CNC systems and electrical schematic design is advantageous.
• Experience using CAD software for electrical design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical designs for high-precision CNC machinery, ensuring compliance with required technical and safety standards.
• Configure and integrate electrical components such as power distribution systems, control panels, servo drives, motors, sensors, I/O systems and safety circuits.
• Produce and maintain electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using relevant CAD software.
• Review and assess PLC control systems involving Fanuc and Mitsubishi controllers to ensure proper functionality and integration.
• Participate in the development, modification and enhancement of CNC machines, including engineering changes, upgrades and retrofit projects.
• Identify and resolve electrical and control system issues during machine assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and R&D teams to support machine development and engineering activities.
• Work with internal teams to assess and implement customer-specific electrical design modifications and resolve technical issues.

Electrical Design Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Working Location: Joo Koon, West region
Employment Type: Permanent
Basic Salary: Up to $6,000/month

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical designs for high-precision CNC machinery, ensuring compliance with required technical and safety standards

• Configure and integrate electrical components such as power distribution systems, control panels, servo drives, motors, sensors, I/O systems and safety circuits

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience in electrical design within machine tools, industrial automation or robotics equipment is preferred

• Knowledge of PLC, CNC systems and electrical schematic design will be an advantage

• Experience using CAD software for electrical design and documentation

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience in CNC machinery or precision manufacturing will be an advantage
