SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Electrical Automation Service Engineer for on-site roles across customer sites islandwide. The engineer will handle electrical design, control-panel wiring, PLC/HMI programming, installation and commissioning with hands-on workshop presence.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics/automation and 3+ years in industrial automation. Expect travel, overtime, allowances, and a performance bonus up to four months.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial machinery or machine-control systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical/control-panel wiring, installation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Practical PLC and HMI programming with Mitsubishi and/or Panasonic systems.
• Able to read electrical drawings/schematics; familiar with AutoCAD/EPLAN/SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs using Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
• Configure and troubleshoot HMI screens and interfaces.
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control-panel drawings.
• Install, test and commission automation equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, PLC, HMI and machinery faults.
• Conduct FAT, SAT and acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical documentation, service reports and user manuals.
• Support customer-site service work locally and overseas assignments.

• Position: Electrical Automation Service Engineer
• Location: Upper Aljunied Link | Customer Sites Islandwide
• Working Hours: 5 days | Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6,000 Basic + S$300 monthly motorbike allowance for employees who own and use a motorcycle for work - NOT compulsory to have own bike + Mobile Provided + Overtime allowance based on the company’s fixed hourly rate + Overseas travel allowance + Overseas accommodation, meals and transportation provided according to company policy + Up to 4 months’ variable bonus, subject to company and individual performance + 14 Days Annual Leave + Insurance Coverage

This is a practical, end-to-end machine automation role for an engineer who enjoys bringing equipment to life.

You will work on electrical design, control-panel and machine wiring, PLC/HMI programming, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting. This is not a desk-based programming role. Approximately 70% to 80% of the work is hands-on at the workshop and customer sites.

The role offers exposure to the full automation lifecycle, with overseas commissioning opportunities and a performance bonus of up to four months.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial machinery, equipment automation or machine-control systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical/control-panel wiring, installation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Practical PLC and HMI programming experience, ideally with Mitsubishi and/or Panasonic systems.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics independently.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks or similar drawing software.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and taking ownership during installation and commissioning.
• Willing to support occasional overtime, weekend work and overseas assignments when project needs require.
