Staffking Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop schematics, control circuits and panel layouts for industrial automation projects.

You will review customer requirements, prepare BOMs, support costing, and produce drawings with EPLAN/AutoCAD/SolidWorks, while ensuring compliance with IEC/EN, NFPA/NEC and UL standards.

The role offers a 5-day work week, with WFH arrangements and opportunities to collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design, preferably in industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering, control circuits and panel design.
• Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop electrical schematics, control circuits and panel layouts for industrial automation systems.
• Review customer requirements to determine technical scope and feasibility.
• Prepare electrical BOMs and support project costing and quotation preparation.
• Produce and update electrical drawings using EPLAN, AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
• Participate in FAT for control panels and electrical systems.
• Provide technical support to installation and service teams locally and internationally.
• Work closely with mechanical, software and project engineering teams to ensure smooth system integration.
• Apply IEC/EN, NFPA/NEC and UL standards to electrical designs.

Job Scope:

• Develop electrical schematics, control circuits and panel layouts for industrial automation systems.


• Review customer requirements to determine technical scope and feasibility.


• Prepare electrical BOMs and support project costing and quotation preparation.


• Produce and update electrical drawings using EPLAN, AutoCAD or other relevant design software.


• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for control panels and electrical systems.


• Provide technical support to installation and service teams locally and internationally.


• Work closely with mechanical, software and project engineering teams to ensure smooth system integration.


• Apply relevant IEC/EN, NFPA/NEC and UL standards to electrical designs.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design, preferably within industrial automation, control systems or control panel environments.


• Strong understanding of electrical engineering, control circuits and panel design.


• EPLAN / AutoCAD / SolidWorks experience is preferred


• Familiarity with PLC systems, sensors, actuators and industrial field devices

• Knowledge of international electrical standards such as IEC/EN, NFPA/NEC and UL.
