Job summary

Ecolab Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an electrical engineer to design, develop and test electrical and control systems for water and wastewater projects.

You will read electrical drawings, program PLCs, carry out testing and commissioning, and ensure compliance with local codes and project specifications. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years’ experience, plus strong English, teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in water/wastewater environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation.
• Ability to read electrical drawings (single line, schematics, specs).
• Proficient in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Engineering of electrical and control systems.
• Ensure compliance to required local codes and project specifications.
• Panel wiring and it design (design of electrical switchboards and control panels).
• PLC programming.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Review commissioning work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with all sections for testing/commissioning requirements with different stakeholders and arrange for facilities and instruments for the job.
• Develop & improve on design of electrical switchboard & control panels.
