Job summary

GRC Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to design and optimise control system architectures for water/wastewater or process plants. You will develop PLC/DCS/SCADA solutions and coordinate with proposals and project teams.

The role involves preparing technical documents, datasheets, I/O lists, and loop diagrams, plus reviewing vendor bids for conformance to specs and code requirements, including ATEX where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Automation, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in process plants or water/wastewater projects.
• AutoCAD/Navisworks familiarity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design control system architecture for PLC, DCS, and SCADA projects.
• Sizing and selection of instruments, hardware and cabling for proposals.
• Prepare project documents: design basis, IO list, loop diagrams, specs.
• Prepare RFQ specifications and review vendor offers for compliance.
• Prepare site submission documents: handover, testing, and start-up activities.
