Job summary

Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) is seeking a Programme Executive to design, lead, and evaluate diverse activities that enhance well-being and engagement of nursing home residents. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to integrate activities into holistic care plans, driving positive psychosocial outcomes.

You will design, develop, and implement programmes tailored to residents' interests and abilities, while coordinating logistics and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum two years' experience in a similar role within a nursing home setting.
• Ability to converse in local dialects to facilitate effective communication with residents.
• Demonstrated passion for serving the needy and vulnerable elderly population.
• Proficient listening and coaching skills to support resident engagement and well-being.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement diverse programmes and activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Conduct needs assessments and collect feedback to continuously improve programme relevance and impact.
• Develop detailed activity plans with clear objectives, materials, and safety protocols.
• Lead and facilitate daily, weekly, and special group and individual programmes.
• Coordinate logistics including setup, material preparation, and equipment management.
• Build relationships with residents by understanding preferences and backgrounds to enhance engagement.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, medical, and social work teams to integrate programmes into care plans.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding participation and updates.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and responses for monitoring.
