Conduct and support risk assessments, job hazard analyses, ergonomic evaluations, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; lead or facilitate root cause analysis, structured problem solving, and corrective action development to close gaps in performance and drive impact to SQDC. Drive timely closure of corrective and preventive actions and verify effectiveness of implemented controls. Use daily and visual management practices to help teams visualize targets and results, track progress to goals, problem solve when off plan, and review process effectiveness. Support visual management and action follow‑up using standard FLIGHT DECK components including performance measures tied to SQDIP gap analysis using TAGS (trend, actual, gap, standard) actions and escalations with specific action, owner, expected completion date, expected impact, and current status. Monitor site EHS performance metrics, identify trends, and communicate results, risks, and priorities to site leadership. Support compliance with applicable federal, state, local, permit, and company EHS requirements. Assist with management of environmental programs including, as applicable, hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, chemical management, and required reporting. Support implementation and sustainment of programs such as lockout/tagout, machine guarding, PPE, fall protection, confined space, contractor safety, ergonomics, and hazard communication. Deliver, coordinate, or support EHS training for employees, leaders, and contractors. Participate in emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response coordination.
