Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, BIS, Engineering, or related field.

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, Agile, Cloud, or AI-related add advantage.

For this techno-functional Business Analyst role, the candidate needs to go beyond conventional BA capabilities and demonstrate stronger technical depth, especially in AI-enabled solution delivery, integrations, and production-ready systems.

Core BA skills required:

• Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
• Gap analysis, scope management, and requirement traceability.
• Preparation of functional specifications, use cases, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
• Support for SIT, UAT, implementation, production support, defect triage, and service requests.

Technical and integration skills required:

• Strong understanding of system integration concepts, API behaviours, data flows, and end-to-end application architecture.
• Hands-on exposure to tools such as SQL, Postman, API testing, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and work closely with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, front-end integration, data pipelines, and cloud or platform-based delivery.

AI / GenAI-oriented skills required:

• Working knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic systems.
• Ability to understand how AI agents are designed, integrated, governed, and deployed in real-world environments - not just as standalone tools.
• Awareness of AI solution considerations such as hallucination, bias, evaluation, guardrails, security, governance, and production monitoring.
• Interest in AI should be supported by active learning, practical experimentation, or structured upskilling.

Product and delivery mindset required:

• Ability to bridge business, product, and technical teams.
• Strong analytical thinking to identify automation opportunities and assess feasibility.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating from prototype to production.
• Focus on building technical/product capability, not only career progression.

Overall expectation:

The role requires a BA with strong techno-functional depth - someone who can handle traditional BA responsibilities while also engaging meaningfully with technical teams on integrations, AI-enabled workflows, and production-ready digital or GenAI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Business Analysis experience, with demonstrated exposure to technical solution delivery.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled, digital transformation, or enterprise integration initiatives is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, Agile, Cloud, or AI-related certifications are an advantage.
