Job summary

Cora Environment Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced energy-from-waste operations leader to oversee a 24/7 EfW facility. You will drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement while optimizing waste-to-energy conversion and steam generation.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance with NEA/MOM/SCDF/PUB, and engage stakeholders to align performance with business goals. The role demands strong leadership, process discipline, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering/Operations (Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy preferred).
• 8–10 years’ experience in power generation, utilities, or EfW operations.
• Strong knowledge of incineration, steam cycle operations, environmental compliance, and site security.
• Familiarity with NEA licensing, carbon tax, emissions monitoring.
• Proven team leadership in continuous process environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily EfW operational activities to ensure safety and efficiency (waste nomination, bunker management, incineration, steam generation, ash handling).
• Ensure safe and reliable steam export as per customer agreement.
• Oversee compliance with NEA, MOM, SCDF, and PUB regulations; monitor safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Drive process optimization using FMEA, RCM, predictive maintenance, and digital monitoring.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and foster a strong safety, environmental responsibility, and accountability culture.
