Job summary

Anradus Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Early Intervention Teacher for our Education Centre in Paya Lebar, Singapore. You will assess students, develop and implement individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with fellow teachers to support diverse learners.

The role requires a Nitec in Special Education and knowledge of best practices in inclusive education. This permanent position offers a structured work week and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have the Nitec in Special Education; Education of Psychology.
• Good understanding of best practices in inclusive and special education to support diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Study client’s behaviour and apply behavioral therapy principles.
• Develop individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance and track their progress.
• Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect student’s progress and goals.
• Manage a group of students of ratio 1:4-5 kids with other teachers in the class.
• Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in students’ behaviours.
• Become familiar with and use behavioural redirection techniques.
• Know how to respond to negative behaviours appropriately.
• Provide written documentation on each student.
• Communicate progress with managers and parents.
