Job summary

Island Living is seeking a passionate and responsible e-commerce intern to support our growing team in Singapore. You will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of running an e-commerce brand and work with owners to learn end-to-end operations.

Responsibilities include managing our Shopify store, updating inventory in ERP, editing product photos, and maintaining accurate content across the online store.

Responsibilities

• Manage the website (Shopify) and related apps on a day-to-day basis.
• Create new products and update inventory in the ERP system.
• Edit and upload product photos; maintain store content and prices.
• Keep content accurate across pages, products and master data.
• Respond to customer inquiries, exchanges, refunds or complaints.
• Coordinate order fulfilment with logistics and warehouse teams.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as needed.

We are looking for a passionate and responsible individual to support our e-commerce business. In this role, you will work across functions and learn all about the back end operations and what it takes to run a successful e-commerce brand!

About the role

We are seeking an e-commerce intern to be a part of our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested to gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of running an e-commerce business.

Some of the things you will be expected to do but not limited to:

• Day to day management of website (Shopify) and associated apps
• Managing the creating of new products and updating inventory on our online (ERP) system
• Editing and uploading product photos
• Maintaining and updating the online store while ensuring all content (pages, products and prices) are displayed accurately
• Maintaining accurate records of our master data
• Respond to customers order enquires, exchanges, refunds or complaints
• Coordinate order fulfilment by working closely with logistics and warehouse team
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

The candidate should be:

• Passionate about e-commerce
• Organised and meticulous, with an eye for detail
• Resourceful, fast and efficient and able to work independently
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively

This is a full-time paid internship, and you will work closely with the rest of the team, including the owners. Commitment should be for a minimum of 6 months.
