Job summary

ICON OUTSOURCING seeks an experienced Dynatrace Implementation Consultant to deploy, configure, and optimize Dynatrace observability within a banking environment. You will work with infrastructure and operations teams to enhance performance monitoring and operational resilience across critical systems.

You will design and administer Dynatrace environments, deploy OneAgent/ActiveGate across platforms, and implement monitoring for apps, APIs, and databases while integrating with ITSM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 8+ years in APM, observability or monitoring.
• 5+ years hands-on Dynatrace implementation.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, IIS, Apache, Nginx, Java/.NET and databases.
• Banking/financial services experience and regulatory awareness.
• Cloud/AWS/Azure/GCP and container tech knowledge.
• Dynatrace Associate/Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer Dynatrace environments.

• Configure monitoring for applications, APIs, databases, middleware, and infrastructure.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, management zones, SLOs, and service monitoring.

• Monitor banking applications and establish end-to-end transaction tracing.
• Integrate Dynatrace with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and Active Directory.
• Conduct performance analysis, root cause investigations, and optimization recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in APM, observability, or monitoring solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on Dynatrace implementation and administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, DavisAI, Smartscape, RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Service Flow, and API integrations.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, IIS, Apache, Nginx,Java/.NET applications, and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM and monitoring platforms.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services
• Understanding of banking applications, operational resilience, and regulatory requirements
• Experience monitoring Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and microservices architectures
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, ora related field.

• Dynatrace Associate/Professional certification preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
• Large-scale observability transformation programs in banking.
• Production support, incident management, and SRE practices.
• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Dynatrace implementation in banking or financial services environments.
