Job summary

Romulus Digital is seeking a Maintenance Functional Consultant to support and enhance Dynamics 365 and Power Platform-based enterprise systems. You will work with business users, technical teams, and analysts to translate needs into functional designs, configure apps, and ensure changes are tested and documented.

The role covers Dynamics 365, Power Platform, reporting, workflow automation, and system integrations within a production support context.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in enterprise application functional consulting or related roles.
Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in IT, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.
Experience supporting, configuring, or enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM apps.
Strong business analysis: requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to translate requirements into configurations, workflows, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain enterprise apps within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem per approved requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture processes and translate into functional specs.
Prepare specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria for changes.
Analyze integration requirements between Dynamics 365 and external apps.
Support Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI where applicable.
Investigate functional issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
Plan functional, system, and regression testing and assist with UAT.
Assess impact of changes and support business readiness prior to releases.
Assist with release activities including user communications and training.
Maintain up-to-date documentation: specs, configurations, and operating procedures.
Support workflow automation, analytics, and continuous system improvement.
Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure cohesive solutions.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve user experience.
