Job summary

Markpoint Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, contracts administration and cost control on Singapore construction projects. You will handle take-offs, prepare tender documents, and assist in evaluation and awards, liaising with procurement and the project team.

The role requires a Diploma in QS or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Working location is Sembawang with standard hours.

Qualifications

• O-level or Diploma in QS or equivalent with 2-3 years experience.
• Good team player with ability to meet deadlines.
• Initiative, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tender and contracts administration.
• Take-off quantities for tendering.
• Prepare documents for sourcing quotations.
• Prepare pre-tender estimate and tender documents.
• Conduct tender exercises for subcontracting, including evaluation and award.
• Liaise with Procurement team.
• Handle claims, variation orders, budget & cost control, and final accounts settlement.
• Coordinate and support project team.
• QS with contracts knowledge is advantageous.
• Other duties as assigned.
