Job summary

GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL SUPPORT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. You will prepare monthly progress claims for clients, verify subcontractors' claims, and help negotiate payment terms.

You will review and draft letters of award, finalise subcontract and main contract final accounts, and ensure deadlines are met. A degree in building or QS field and at least two years of local QS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building/Construction Management/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ local experience as QS in construction.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; team player.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clients monthly progress claim.
• Verify subcontractors’ monthly progress claim, and recommend subcontractor’s monthly progress payment.
• Review and prepare letter of award for subcontractors and negotiate terms and LOA clauses with subcontractors.
• Finalise subcontract and main contract’s final account.
• Able to meet tight deadlines.
