Job summary

Song Furniture Construction & Trading Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified professional for a construction support role in Singapore. The incumbent will manage progress claims, monitor site progress, liaise with suppliers, and maintain strong relationships with contractors and clients.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Building, QS or Civil Engineering, at least 1 year of construction experience, and strong planning, negotiation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction sector.
• Strong planning, communication, organization and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Word, AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle progress claims, progress payments and finalization of accounts.
• Monitor site progress and attend site meetings.
• Source, liaise and negotiate with suppliers and vendors on quotations and requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with main contractors, sub-contractors, vendors and clients.
• Prepare project budgeting, costing reports and financial forecasts.
• Oversee tender and contract document administration.
• Handle other assigned duties as required.
