Job summary

Science Centre Singapore is seeking a temporary staff member to join the Marketing & Communications department and support the PR and Communications team in daily tasks such as media relations, content development, stakeholder coordination and campaign execution. The role offers hands-on exposure to national institution media and content operations.

The candidate should be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Background in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail and ability to write engaging copy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work with internal teams, agencies, media and external partners.
• Willingness to support events and media engagements outside regular hours when required.
• Experience in PR, communications, content creation, media relations, paid content partnerships or event support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and execution of PR campaigns for exhibitions, events, and initiatives.
• Manage filming requests and media queries; coordinate media visits.
• Support media and KOL engagements; schedule, follow-ups, and on-site needs.
• Liaise with PR agency on day-to-day activities, deliverables and follow-ups.
• Draft and update communications content, including LinkedIn copy, event materials, and media assets.
• Assist with event execution; prepare media kits and other materials.
• Support with CRM campaigns and EDMs; assist with tender processes as required.
• Provide administrative support for PR and communications activities, including quotations and invoices.
