Unknown is seeking an Assistant Manager, Communications to join its Communications & Customer Experience team in Singapore. This role leads internal content creation and aligns messaging across staff app and digital screens.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in communications or PR, strong writing, media relations, and stakeholder management, in a fast-paced operational setting. Experience with Canva or Adobe Illustrator is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented.
• Agency management experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Illustrator or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal content creation and publishing across platforms such as the in-house staff app and digital screens
• Work with developers to improve the staff app
• Draft leadership communications, including MD updates, speeches, scripts and key announcements
• Turn operational updates into clear, employee-friendly messaging
• Manage agency partners on social media content
• Develop service announcements and support campaigns and brand initiatives
• Handle media relations: queries, media releases and statements, pitching and interview coordination
• Support events, launches and stakeholder engagements with the media, union and community partners
• Support communications during service incidents, including holding statements and real-time updates with Operations
