Job summary

MAGINET PLUMBING CONTRACTOR PTE. LTD. is seeking a CAD Drafter to support projects in Singapore. You will prepare shop drawings, liaise with clients on drawings and appliance placements, and assist with as-built drawings and billing support.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, comfort with MS Office, and the ability to work in a team. Fresh graduates from NITEC/Higher Nitec/Polytechnics are welcome, with growth potential in a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Understand new projects and prepare shop drawings.
• Liaise with clients to confirm drawing accuracy and appliance placements.
• Follow up on ongoing projects to check work quality.
• Ensure submissions are cleared by Executive Engineer as required.
• Visit sites for meetings or progress evaluation.
• Prepare as-built drawings for finished projects.
• Assist Executive Engineer with billing invoices.
• Team-based responsibilities may require supporting other members.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Understand new projects, and prepare shop drawings.
• Liaising with clients to ensure the accuracy of drawing and appliances placements
• Following up with ongoing projects to check on the quality of work done
• Following up with ongoing projects to ensure clearance of necessary submissions by the Executive Engineer
• Visiting sites for meetings with clients or to evaluate site progress
• Preparing as-built drawings for finished projects
• Assisting Executive Engineer to finalized billing invoice for the client
• Responsibilities are not restricted or limited to the above mentioned, as we worked as a team, there will be times when we need to assist each other.

Location & Commitments

• Full‑time position based in the HQ (30 Mandai Estate, Singapore 729918)
• Working days: 5.5 days (Alternate Saturdays)
• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm; Saturday, 9.00 am to 1.00 pm (Alternate Saturdays)
• No overtime compensation for working after 6.00 pm on weekdays
• Overtime on weekends (after 1.00 pm on Saturday) may be required (compensation given)

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Competence in tracking deadlines, and using MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Fresh graduates from NITEC/ HIGHER Nitec/ Polytechnics are welcome
• Willingness to learn and growth
• Team player who is able to work as a team and support the team
• Previous experience in a construction firm would be a plus point
