Job summary

MECH FLO TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to prepare drawings, take-offs and cost estimates while coordinating with project teams, contractors and suppliers. The role emphasizes accuracy in quantities and costs and tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will review plans, perform site measurements, and support tender submissions with well-structured documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in M&E fire protection projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review architectural drawings, construction plans, and project specifications.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Calculate material quantities, labour costs, and other project-related costs.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to clarify drawings and project requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify actual site conditions against drawings.
• Revise drawings according to site requirements, design changes, and client instructions.
• Assist in material sourcing, supplier quotations, and cost comparisons.
• Monitor project costs and assist in budget control to ensure projects are completed within the approved budget.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, measurements, quotations, and other project documents.
• Ensure all drawings, quantity calculations, and cost estimates are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management.
