Job summary

JK RECRUITMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable Document Controller to support construction and fire protection projects. You will manage project documents, drawings, submissions, and records, ensuring accurate control, updates, and easy retrieval for the project team.

The role requires 1–3 years of document control experience, familiarity with construction drawings and submissions, and strong MS Office skills. Singapore-based role with a hands-on, detail-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in business, construction, or engineering.
• 1–3 years' experience in document control in construction, M&E or fire protection.
• Familiar with construction drawings, technical submissions and project docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with document management systems or project collaboration platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents, drawings, specs, correspondence and records.
• Control issuance, revision and distribution of drawings and documents.
• Maintain document registers, revision logs and transmittal records.
• Coordinate submissions and approvals with clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure latest approved drawings are circulated to project teams.
• Monitor document status from submission to approval and superseded docs.
• Assist teams with shop drawings, as-built drawings and other technical docs.
• Archive project records per company and project requirements.
• Follow up on outstanding submissions and approvals.
• Ensure proper naming, indexing and retrieval.
• Support audits, inspections and handovers with required docs.
• Perform other admin and document control duties.
