About the role
Drive recruitment, engagement and development of Agents / Financial Advisors (FAs)
Manage sales performance, targets and recruitment pipeline
Oversee onboarding and training of new Agents / FAs
Prepare production and performance reports for Management
Conduct market and product benchmarking, especially for digital / intermediary products
Partner internal teams to improve digital portals, workflows and user experience
Pre-Requisites
5–10 years’ experience in sales / marketing /distribution and or underwriting within general insurance
Good knowledge of Personal & Commercial Lines and distribution practices
Experience in agent/FA engagement, recruitment, or portfolio/production management within a distribution environment.
Experience in Accident, Travel (Personal & Group) and Home products.
Strong ability to analyse production performance and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
Exposure to digital or portal insurance products, including product benchmarking, requirements gathering, or optimisation of portal-based offerings.
Good network or connection of agents/FAs contacts.
Collaborative team player with good stakeholder management and communication skills.
Possession of relevant insurance or professional qualifications is required.
Job Roles
Lead, drive and support Agents/Financial Advisors (FA) engagement and recruitment initiatives, including the planning and execution of engagement and training events, in close collaboration with other members of the Distribution team with an aim to achieve sustainable growth and overall sales targets.
Actively manage the Agents/FAs recruitment pipeline, partnering with other members of the Distribution team to identify, assess and prioritise potential Agents/FAs in line with business growth objectives.
Plan and oversee the onboarding and structured training of new Agents/FAs to ensure a smooth integration and early productivity.
Monitor, track and analyse Agents/FAs performance by consolidating agreed sales targets, action plans, and feedback from engagement sessions with Agents/FAs, working closely with other Distribution team members to derive actionable insights for Management.
Prepare and present annual, quarterly, and campaign-based production reports for the Head of Distribution and Management, highlighting performance trends and growth opportunities.
Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking of insurance products distributed through digital intermediary portals, monitoring market features, positioning and distribution practices to support product development and competitiveness. Product champion for allocated products.
Gather structured feedback from Agents/FAs to identify market gaps, unmet needs and competitive weaknesses in Retail and SME insurance products.
Translate benchmarking and market insights into clear, prioritised product requirements and drive product development process from distribution and market perspective, in close collaboration with Underwriting.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve the user interface (UI), intermediary journey and workflows, and overall proposition of digital-based products, with a clear focus on driving adoption, conversion and meeting agreed production targets.
