Job summary

SAA Architects, part of the Surbana Jurong Group, seeks a Director of Transport to lead its transport team in Singapore. The role drives new business, leads major rail and transport infrastructure projects, and provides strategic leadership across client engagement, design, and delivery while guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex environments.

Qualifications

At least 20 years of architectural experience.
Registered Architect or equivalent preferred.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; advanced degrees advantageous.

Responsibilities

Set vision and direction for transport architecture practice.
Identify and secure major transport project opportunities.
Engage clients, authorities and partners at senior level.
Lead delivery of complex transport projects from inception to completion.
Provide design and technical leadership across stations and transit infrastructure.
Coordinate across architecture, engineering, and delivery teams.
Oversee fee proposals, contracts, budgets and risk management.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of architects.
