Job summary

SAA Architects Singapore seeks a Director, Transport to lead and oversee the transport team, driving major rail and infrastructure projects while providing strategic leadership across client engagement, design direction and delivery.

You will shape proposals, maintain design quality through construction, and mentor a high-performing team while navigating complex stakeholder environments in Singapore’s built environment.

Qualifications

• 20 years of architectural experience, preferably with rail, MRT, transit or major infrastructure projects.
• Registered Architect or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in design, PM, or infrastructure delivery advantageous.
• Experience leading complex architectural projects from concept to construction.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: set vision for transport architecture practice in Singapore and drive growth.
• Business Development: pursue major transport offers, lead or support bids and client presentations.
• Client and Authority Engagement: build relationships with clients, authorities, and partners.
• Project Delivery Oversight: lead delivery from feasibility to construction administration and close-out.
