Qualifications

• 6-10 years’ work experience in opportunistic credit/special situations, private equity or investment banking.
• Previous buy-side experience preferred.
• Strong grasp of corporate finance fundamentals, markets and deal structuring.
• Excellent quantitative/analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight and manage due diligence.
• Grit and stamina to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong communication with internal/external parties.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity to learn.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end deal screening, structuring, due diligence and execution.
• Assist in sourcing and negotiations with stakeholders and management.
• Perform industry, business, legal and financial analyses and modeling.
• Prepare internal memoranda and investment committee recommendations.
• Oversee post-investment asset management, reporting and monitoring.
• Participate in investor meetings and due diligence requests.
• Contribute to team, strategy, business and culture building at BSQ.
