Job summary

The National Library Board (NLB) in Singapore seeks a strategic leader to shape and drive its physical security strategy across multiple sites, ensuring a future-ready and proportionate security posture.

You will collaborate with senior management, government agencies and partners to develop risk-based security policies, invest in technology, and transform security operations through data and new operating models.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in physical security or security management with leadership experience.
• Strong capability in strategy development, risk assessment and governance for large multi-site organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive medium- to long-term physical security strategy and capability roadmap.
• Lead risk-based physical security planning and mitigation.
• Develop and review security policies, standards and governance framework.
• Identify and evaluate emerging security technologies and operating models.
• Drive security transformation through technology, analytics and data.
• Provide input into design and planning of new facilities to address security requirements.
• Plan longer-term security infrastructure, access control and surveillance.
• Establish assurance and performance frameworks for security controls.
• Oversee major security incidents and translate lessons into improvements.
• Prioritise security investment plans and procurement governance.
• Engage with government agencies, industry partners and service providers.
