Job summary

Fynder Talent is seeking a high-caliber Director of Retail to lead and elevate retail operations across SEA, driving sales performance, clienteling standards, and a premium luxury experience at flagship boutiques.

The role requires deep luxury retail leadership, regional mastery of Hong Kong & Macau markets, proven HNWI clienteling ability, and a passion for high jewellery and watches; gemological credentials (GIA or equivalent) preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of progressive luxury retail leadership experience.
• Deep regional exposure to Hong Kong & Macau luxury retail landscapes.
• Proven track record in cultivating HNWI client relationships and VIP engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and elevate boutique operations and network performance across SEA.
• Oversee allocation, P&L, and high-value sales growth across key categories.
• Develop and mentor Boutique Managers and store teams to deliver storytelling-driven service.

We are seeking a high-caliber Director of Retail to lead and elevate retail operations across SEA This pivotal role will be responsible for driving retail sales performance, elevating clienteling standards across flagship boutique network, managing operations, and inspiring high-performing teams to deliver an exceptional luxury retail experience.

Key Requirements

• Industry Expertise: 10–15+ years of progressive retail leadership within top-tier luxury goods, with a strong emphasis on High Jewellery, Fine Watches, or prestigious Hard Luxury Maisons.
• Regional Market Mastery: Deep operational and commercial expertise within the Hong Kong & Macau luxury retail landscape, market dynamics, and boutique network management.
• HNWI Clienteling & CRM Strategy: Proven track record in cultivating relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), managing VIP engagement strategy, bespoke private collection events, and client acquisition.
• Strong passion for and understanding of high jewellery, fine watchmaking, and precious gemstones; formal gemological credentials (e.g., GIA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strategic oversight of boutique operations, allocation management, P&L performance, and high-value sales growth across key categories.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire Boutique Managers and store teams, fostering a service-oriented culture rooted in storytelling and brand heritage.
