Job summary

Sonova is seeking an Industrial Engineering Director in Singapore to lead manufacturing process design, ERP data integrity, and continuous improvement for precision medical device production. You will bridge engineering, quality, operations and regulatory functions, oversee a team of engineers, and drive ECM/ECO, DFMEA, and design-for-manufacturability reviews while ensuring ISO 13485 compliance.

The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to shape manufacturing roadmaps and NPI

Qualifications

8-10+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering; medical device or precision electronics preferred.
Hands-on ERP experience: BOM, routing, cycle time data management.
Deep knowledge of ISO 13485 and design controls under 21 CFR 820 / EU MDR.
Experience leading Engineering Change Management processes in a regulated environment.
Proven track record in cycle time reduction, line balancing, and yield/scrap improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing process design and ERP data integrity.
Drive Lean/Six Sigma continous improvement for high-mix, low-volume assemblies.
Oversee ECM/ECO processes with cross-functional reviews and proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and regional medical device regulations.
Manage a team of industrial/process/manufacturing engineers and collaborate across functions.
