Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Approximately 8–10 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across production equipment and processes.
• Experience with ISO 13485 and/or FDA-regulated manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations to meet output, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, apply root-cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Escalate complex mechanical, electrical and process-related manufacturing issues.
• Develop and coach production supervisors and frontline teams.
• Plan production schedules, manpower and resource allocation across lines.
• Develop, review and enforce SOPs and quality standards for products.
• Support new product introductions with layouts and capacity plans.
• Drive productivity, labour efficiency and equipment utilisation.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and capacity requirements.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cross-site transfers, lifecycle changes and obsolescence planning.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA and other regulatory requirements.
