Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe is seeking an engineer/scientist to support Global Operations & Quality in Singapore. You will work cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes, develop experiments, and address CAPAs and audits.

The role includes creating work instructions and leading project plans to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering or a scientific field, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with MS Office and CAD tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific field required.
Good computer skills in MS Office Suite including MS Project; CAD experience preferred.
Basic documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Basic understanding of statistical techniques.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing processes using LEAN methods for continuous improvement.
Develop basic experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results and report.
Analyze and resolve CAPA, non-conformances and audit observations.
Develop training and documentation materials for production processes.
Establish project plans and manage deliverables to customer expectations.
Identify opportunities to redesign equipment, tools or fixtures to improve processes.
Oversee manufacturing support tasks and train technicians.
