Job summary

Sonova Singapore Private Limited is seeking an Industrial Engineering Director to lead manufacturing process design, ERP data integrity, and continuous improvement for precision medical device production. This role interfaces with engineering, quality, operations and regulatory functions to drive compliant, scalable manufacturing.

You will own ERP BOMs and routings, drive cycle time reductions, lead ECM/ECO processes, and advance Lean Six Sigma initiatives across high-mix, low-volume assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related)
• Hands-on ERP experience (BOM structuring, routing setup, cycle time data management)
• Experience with ISO 13485 and design controls under 21 CFR 820.30 / EU MDR

Responsibilities

• Own BOM maintenance in ERP and manage version control across active products
• Set up and maintain Manufacturing Process routings and cycle times in ERP
• Lead cycle time studies, line balancing, and productivity initiatives across assembly and sub-assembly operations
• Guide Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECO) processes with cross-functional review and documentation
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR)
• Lead or support Process FMEA, Process Validation, and product investigations tied to manufacturing processes
