Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Singapore is seeking an engineering professional to partner with manufacturing operations and sales, delivering thoughtful solutions to optimize processes to ensure product quality for patients worldwide.

You will design and run experiments, analyze data, lead project plans, and mentor technicians, with a strong emphasis on Six Sigma/LEAN, FDA-regulatory awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with 4 years of experience.
• Master's Degree with 3 years experience in engineering or scientific field.
• Ph.D. or equivalent in Engineering or Scientific field with industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and Lean methods.
• Develop experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.
• Analyze and resolve Manufacturing and Compliance issues (CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations).
• Develop training and documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) for production to enable knowledge transfer.
• Lead project plans to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations using project management tools.
• Oversee manufacturing support tasks; instruct technicians on tests; train and provide feedback; coordinate work.
• Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership.
