Job summary

Ethos BeathChapman in Singapore seeks a full-time Investment Banking Analyst/Associate to support M&A activities. This permanent placement is based in Singapore with Analyst 3, Associate 1–2 ideally.

You will perform financial analyses and build detailed models, cover Southeast Asia, prepare client materials, assist in equity/debt transactions, and coordinate with deal teams and stakeholders across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking / IBD / Corporate Finance / M&A
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
• Strong work ethics and independent with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
• Superior analytical aptitude and creative problem solving
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
• Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing, debt capital markets or M&A transactions
• Regional coverage: Southeast Asia
• Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
• Support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions including due diligence and drafting of documents
• Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
• Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, internal and external stakeholders
