Ethos BeathChapman is seeking a senior M&A professional based in Singapore with 8–12 years of experience in investment banking, IBD or corporate finance. You will lead origination, model complex scenarios, and perform valuations for regional deals across Southeast Asia.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-intensity environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years in Investment Banking, IBD, Corporate Finance or M&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with strong financial acumen.
• Ability to perform under pressure with high attention to detail.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities would include:

• Lead origination and execution of M&A/ strategic advisory transactions
• Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing or M&A transactions
• Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
• Regional coverage: Southeast Asia
• Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
• Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
• Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, internal and external stakeholders

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance / M&A
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
• Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
• Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
• Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
• Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
