Job summary

Lorum in Singapore is building an institutional sales team and hiring experienced originators to drive new business with banks for EUR, GBP and USD clearing and correspondent banking. This hunter role requires you to bring an existing bank network and run deals end-to-end.

You will be the face of Lorum to prospective banks, selling nostro/vostro, clearing, trade finance and FI capabilities, with in-person meetings and a hybrid setup requiring 4 days per week in the Singapore office.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years selling directly to banks in correspondent banking, transaction banking, FI sales or trade finance.
• Extensive banking sector network, especially in treasury & strategy.
• Product depth in correspondent banking mechanics (nostro/vostro, SWIFT, EUR/USD clearing).
• Regulatory fluency: AML/CFT and sanctions compliance for FI relationships.
• Hunter instincts with strong negotiation, deal structuring and closing.
• Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder cycles across compliance, operations, treasury and executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a self-sourced pipeline of banks needing EUR or USD clearing.
• Lead generation through self-sourcing without SDR support.
• Inbound qualification of leads from the website, referrals and events.
• Maintain a total quota of £2m+ with deals typically above £100k ARR.
• Lead consultative conversations on clearing, virtual accounts and FX solutions.
• Run 5+ stakeholder cycles with a strong champion and engage C-level buyers.
• Own handover to implementation and customer success for go-live.
• Provide market feedback to product, compliance and operations.
• Travel up to 40% once ramped for in-person bank meetings.
