Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Director in Markets Client & Sales Operations. The role leads a global, high‑performing team delivering scalable pre/post trade support to Markets Sales worldwide.

You will partner with Sales, COO, and Product to drive efficiency, client experience, and productivity through operational excellence and continuous improvement. Based in Singapore or UK, the position supports a client-centric, commercially aligned service model with strong governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Global Markets Operations – Middle Office, Client Operations or Sales Support functions preferred.
• Cross Product experience (FX / Derivatives / Securities) is desirable.
• Seasoned Transformation Agent with track record of process redesign and automation.
• Experience leading or supporting global, multi‑regional teams.
• Ability to manage a diverse, globally distributed Sales organisation and balance competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global, multi‑regional Markets Sales Operations team.
• Partner with Sales, COO, and product teams to enable product enablement and new controls.
• Drive process improvement through data, feedback and insights to reduce friction and improve client outcomes.
• Coordinate with GCC and regional teams to standardise best practices and governance.
