Job summary

SMBC Group seeks an experienced Integration Leader to drive enterprise integration initiatives across strategic programs in Singapore. You will champion API-led, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures, partnering with business, security, data, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in software engineering or integration, with a track record delivering large-scale platform transformations in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, system integration, middleware, architecture, or technology delivery.
• Proven experience leading complex integration initiatives across multiple applications, platforms, and business domains.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise integration platform transformation programmes, including large-scale integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API-led connectivity, event-driven architectures, messaging technologies, and modern integration practices.
• Experience with API management platforms, integration middleware, cloud and hybrid integration environments, and enterprise application ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration initiatives across strategic programs and technology projects.
• Promote standardization, reusable APIs, and enterprise-wide reuse across projects and platforms.
• Work closely with business, application, infrastructure, security, data, and architecture teams to deliver effective integration solutions.
• Review integration designs and provide recommendations to improve quality, resilience, scalability, and operational supportability.
• Champion modern integration approaches including API-led, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
• Ensure integration solutions comply with security, regulatory, operational resilience, and technology risk requirements.
