Job summary

SP Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Integration & Security Engineer to design, implement, and govern a scalable enterprise integration platform that includes API Gateway, secure file transfer, and event-driven messaging.

The role emphasizes security, governance, and compliance, with responsibilities spanning platform management, on-boarding of systems, and real-time data streaming across internal systems and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in system integration, middleware, or integration platforms.
• Exposure to API-based, file-based, and/or event-driven integration.
• Experience in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Understanding of integration platforms and API Gateway concepts.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging/streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of application security and access control concepts.
• Experience with secure file transfer processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Singaporeans and PRs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce security controls across the integration platform.
• Manage and support enterprise integration platforms (API Gateway, messaging, file transfer).
• Configure policies such as access control, traffic management, and security rules.
• Monitor platform performance and resolve issues.
• Design and support event-driven integration architecture using enterprise messaging platforms.
• Enable real-time data streaming and asynchronous communication between systems.
• Define messaging patterns (publish/subscribe, event-based workflows).
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of event-driven integrations.
• Support onboarding of applications to the messaging platform.
