Job summary

OpenAI in Singapore is seeking a Manager of AI Deployment Engineering to lead a team of Applied AI Engineers serving large enterprise customers. You will guide solution design, production readiness, and adoption across engagements, coaching engineers in architecture, evaluations, and governance.

You will partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Security to deliver measurable business outcomes and scalable deployment patterns across our customer portfolio.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing customer-facing technical teams.
• Experience leading enterprise AI/ML deployment projects.
• Strong coaching and people leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Engineers.
• Own the quality and impact of the team’s work across solution design, production readiness, adoption, and expansion.
• Coach engineers through architecture, model selection, evaluations, and operational readiness.
• Establish an operating model for prioritizing accounts and engagements based on need and impact.
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point during launches and production incidents.
• Partner with customer executives and technical leaders to connect implementations to measurable business outcomes.
• Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.
• Develop reusable architectures, playbooks, and enablement to accelerate value for enterprise customers.
