Job summary

LTC COATINGS (S) PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned senior leader to serve as Managing Director or Country Manager in Singapore. You will steer strategic direction, oversee operations, financial performance, investments, and new ventures, and coordinate with the Japan Headquarters.

The role requires a proven track record of growing complex businesses, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business‑level English and Japanese for cross‑border coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles such as MD/GM
• Minimum 15 years in strategic planning and execution
• Proven track record in growing businesses
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders and HQ
• Business-level English and Japanese is mandatory

【What You’ll Be Working On】

• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve the company’s short- and long-term objectives and drive sustainable business growth.
• Provide strategic insights, market intelligence, and recommendations to the Board of Directors to support key business decisions.
• Lead and oversee the company’s overall business operations, financial performance, investments, and new business ventures.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop initiatives to strengthen the company’s market position and long-term competitiveness.
• Ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
• Provide leadership and direction to senior management and foster a high-performing, collaborative organizational culture.
• Monitor business performance and take appropriate actions to address challenges and maximize operational and financial results.

【What They’re Looking For】

• Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in a Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager, or other senior leadership role.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans, preferably within the same or a closely related industry.
• Proven track record of leading business growth, driving organizational performance, and managing complex business operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior management, Board members, Japan Headquarters, and other key stakeholders.
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is mandatory, as the role requires frequent communication and coordination with Japan Headquarters and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
